Wedding Fayre Report

It was close to a full house for the Carrington Family Wedding Fayre on the 3rd October 2004. The Fayre was opened by the Chippenham Winner of the Bride for A Day competition, Miss Karen Christian. As part of her prize she was picked up from her home by stretched limousine courtesy of Imperial Limousines and was wearing a tiara and dress from The Clothes Horse. During the Fashion Show; directed by Bev Lee of the Clothes Horse and featuring gowns from Amelia Classics, the Clothes Horse and Lara’s Wedding Room as well as tiaras by Kiss, Karen and the Warminster Winner of the Bride for a Day Competition, Miss Samantha Densley, were presented with folders containing the various vouchers won by them as part of their prize.

	There were also various outfits for the mothers of the bride and groom along with lovely bridesmaids dresses for all ages. As usual for the Carrington’s events there was a Scottish flavour, with a piper leading off the Fashion Show and members of the Family in highland dress manning the reception area. The next Wedding Fayre for the Carrington’s will be on the 13th March 2005, at the Neeld and Town Hall. Dorrian Carrington, event organiser indicated that they are now looking for another lucky lady getting married in the next year to eighteen months. The package for the competition is expected to be greater than the £600 worth of vouchers won by Samantha and Karen.
