PLANNING YOUR WEDDING

When it comes to the perfect wedding day you can never start soon enough or be too well organised . Investigate below for some ideas of what to do and when to do it.

The Wedding Day


Bride:


Take 5 minutes at the start of the day with your closest family and friends to let them know how much you appreciate all their help.

Don’t forget to eat!

Phone the florists to ensure the flowers are being delivered

Go to your hairdressing appointment.

Work out the time required from home to place of service....and leave 5 minutes earlier than you have to.

Best man:

Make sure you have the bride and groom's luggage.

Put rings, speech and messages and telegrams in your jacket pocket!

Before leaving, double check you have the rings.

Usher:

Collect buttonholes and order of service programs.

Distribute the order of service programmes before the ceremony if required.

Bridesmaids and pageboys to arrive 30 minutes before departing for ceremony

Give chosen gifts to bridesmaid etc Bride dresses for great event.

Photographer arrives to take pre-marriage portraits and video

Groom:

Arrives 20 minutes before the start of the ceremony.

Cars collect bridal party and convey to wedding venue.

Bride arrives for wedding service.

Ceremony takes place followed by photographs
Reception line greets guests as they arrive after wedding
After the meal, formal speeches are made
Bride and groom may leave for honeymoon or stay for evening celebrations
