A Medieval Wedding?

Q. I am getting married for the 2nd time hopefully next year but we haven't set a date yet. We are late 30s and would really like something different such as a medieval wedding. Our children are aged between and 13 and really like this idea but I have no idea where to start.

A1. You have many options if you would like a wedding with a difference. Here are a few ideas for you to consider before you make your mind up:-

- Zoos
- Castles
- Racecourses
- Film Studios
- Football/Sports Stadia
- Marquees decorated in a particular theme or style

There are also many venues in Cheshire that will accommodate a Medieval style wedding if this is what you would prefer, as we have many Castles and Stately Homes to boast in our area. To start with, you need to decide on a definite style of wedding that you and your partner would like. Once you know the style, its time to search for the Dream Venue that will accommodate your requirements.

A2. have you considered a Scottish wedding as we have medieval castles in abundance!!
You could have a either a religious or civil ceremony in the castle followed by your reception. There is even accommodation at many of the castles so you could make a weekend of it which I am sure your children would love. The castles would also assist in theming your wedding, with perhaps a medieval banquet?
