When should we write thank you cards?

It may sound very obvious, but the best time to write your thank you card is as soon as you receive a gift. It's the polite thing to do and it lets the person giving the gift know that their present arrived safely. It means that you won't dread having to sit down and write 150 letters in one go. It also means that when you return form Honeymoon you will be more or less up to date with your thank-you cards.
