long as you require us. We book just one wedding per day to
give you our full attention. Should you require any special

Trained in the classic
style of wedding photography, I now favour a more relaxed candid
approach.
As well as being a free-lance photographer, I have spent
the last 15 years as a professional photo retoucher. This
gives me the ability to not only record your wedding day,
but to ensure that each image is digitally retouched to make
you, your day and your guests look as amazing as you remember.

A lot of people ask
Richard about his style of wedding photography. Is it “reportage”
or “traditional”; are the photographs “candid”
or “posed”. Is the coverage “classic”
or “photojournalistic”? We are unique in answering
that we don’t know!!
What we do know is that
most brides want natural-looking, spontaneous photographs which
show all the emotions of the day, along with some stunning,
beautiful portraits of the main people involved.
In a typical wedding covered by Richard you will find lots and
lots of reportage and photojournalistic photographs, taken in
real time, as things happen. Richard has an eye for spotting
the little details, turning a small moment into a beautiful
reminder. However, Richard will also be happy to spend some
time taking posed photographs of family and friends, along with
creative and stunning portraits of Bride & Groom, which
often cleverly look like they haven’t been posed at all.
