pearls of wisdom from Tamryn Kirby of

If you’ve paid for a certain number of bottles at your reception, get someone to count the empties to make sure you’ve used your allowance.

Get your venue to save the champagne cork from the first bottle of bubbly popped after your ceremony.

Photographs can take up quite a bit of time so make sure you don’t miss out on the champagne – ask a family member to keep a glass or two for you both.

If you’re wearing a strapless dress, don’t wear a strapped bra in the morning otherwise you might risk marking your skin.

If you’re planning on flashing some leg, give socks a miss too so you don’t get ‘rings’ around your ankles.

Baby wipes are great for removing marks on fabric shoes!

Make an announcement after dinner to let guests know when the first dance will be. If they wander to the bar or go to freshen up, they’ll be back in time.

If your hand tied bouquets have been stored in water, don’t forget to dry the stalk thoroughly otherwise the water will mark your dress

Make arrangements for your dress, gifts, cards and other luggage to be taken home for you if you’re jetting straight off on honeymoon.

Tamryn will be adding new tips regularly so click here to bookmark us and keep up to date.
